Prices, plan limits and features are read from each vendor's own pages: pricing pages, documentation and changelogs. Every value is stored with the URL it came from and the date we checked it, and pages show both. When we could not verify something, the page shows a dash (–) rather than guessing; a dash means unknown, never “no”.

We do not copy reviews or ratings from third-party review sites, and we do not publish user counts, ratings or testimonials we cannot source.

Each category has a published scorecard: criteria, weights and what each one measures. Every tool in a ranking is scored by the same code; criteria without verified data are left out and the other weights re-normalised, and a tool with too little verified data is listed as not ranked. Rankings are computed, never written by hand, and cannot be bought.

Our own products, where listed, are scored by the same scorecard with no custom weights and carry a disclosure. The formulas are on the methodology page.

Vendors change prices. If a value is out of date, email maruf@trackrev.io with the page and the vendor URL that shows the current value; we re-check it against the source.
