If you are looking for UGC jobs, most of this category is not a job board. Yosta scores highest at 98 out of 100 and is a portfolio builder for UGC creators, while the marketplaces that connect creators with brands sit lower in the ranking and the rest are AI video tools that brands use instead of hiring.
How we picked
The scorecard treats every tool in the category the same way: price at the tier a normal user needs, what the free plan allows, usage limits, getting your data out and how many platforms it covers. Those criteria were built for software buyers, so as a creator read the scores for the tools that match your goal, not the rank alone. Details are on the methodology page.
Every one of the 22 UGC platforms we looked at is scored by the same 7 criteria (scorecard version 1), each from the vendor's own pricing page, docs or changelog. 14 had enough verified data to be ranked. A criterion without verified data is left out and the remaining weights are re-normalised; under 60% of the weight covered means the tool is not ranked.
| Criterion | Weight | Type | What we measure and how |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry price | 25% | Core | Price per month of the cheapest paid plan, against the prices of other UGC platforms on the same billing basis (monthly-billed prices against monthly, annual-billed against annual).Formula: Log scale. Billed monthly: $15/month or less = 100, $299 or more = 0. Only billed annually: $5/month or less = 100, $59 or more = 0. Only free plans = 100. Usage-priced and one-time plans are not scored. |
| Free plan or trial | 15% | Core | Whether you can use the tool before paying: a free plan, or failing that a free trial, as shown on the vendor's pricing page.Formula: Free plan = 100. No free plan but a free trial = 60. The pricing page lists plans but shows neither = 0. No plans read = not scored. |
| Pricing transparency | 10% | Core | How much of the pricing is public: the share of plans with a published price ("contact sales" counts against), and whether there are at least 3 published tiers.Formula: 80 x (plans with a public price / plans listed) + 20 x (public plans, up to 3) / 3. No plans read = not scored. |
| Verified features | 15% | Core | How many of the 4 features we track for this category the vendor's own pages verifiably show (analytics, team access, templates, ai assistant). This counts verified features only: a tool that documents less scores lower here, and only here.Formula: Linear: verified features / 2 (half the tracked list) x 100, capped at 100. No tracked feature verified = not scored. |
| API, integrations and export | 10% | Core | Whether a public API exists, how many integrations the vendor states, and whether the vendor documents a way to export your data.Formula: Average of the parts with data: public API yes = 100, no = 0; integrations on a log scale (100 or more = 100); a documented data export = 100. None verified = not scored. |
| Cost per user (team of 3) | 15% | Category | Monthly price per user for a team of 3, on the cheapest paid plan that is priced per seat or states room for at least 3 users.Formula: Log scale: $5 per user or less = 100, $88 or more = 0. Plans that do not state a user limit are not used. No such plan = not scored. |
| Platform coverage | 10% | Category | How many of the 15 social platforms we track the vendor says the tool supports.Formula: Linear: platforms / 10 x 100, capped at 100. No verified platform list = not scored. |
Which UGC platforms connect creators with brands
The category holds three kinds of tool. A portfolio builder, such as Yosta, helps you present your work to brands. A marketplace, such as Insense and Creator.co, is where a brand hires creators. The remainder generate UGC-style video with AI actors, which is the work a brand might otherwise brief to a creator. The table lists them together, so the order is not a ranking of jobs. See the UGC platforms category for the full list.

Each value links the vendor page it was read from (hover for the check date). Coverage is the share of the scorecard's weight with verified data, and "N of M criteria" how many criteria the score is based on; a tool is ranked at 60% or more.
Score is 0 to 100 on the category scorecard; coverage is the share of scorecard weight with verified data. Prices are list prices in US dollars from each vendor's pricing page; the Checked column is the newest date any fact of that tool was verified. 8 listed without a score because under 60% of the weight has verified data. How the score works: methodology.
The scorecard measures software prices and limits. It does not measure what a creator earns on any platform, and our catalogue lists no creator payout rate for any tool here.
How to read this table as a creator
Start by sorting the tools into the three kinds above. Only the marketplaces and the portfolio builder can lead to paid work, so read their rows for what you can see on the vendor's page: whether a free plan exists, whether a platform fee is listed and which social platforms the tool covers. Yosta is the only entry with a listed free plan that is aimed at creators, while the marketplace plans on this page are priced for brands.
The AI video tools matter for a different reason. Their prices show what a brand can spend to produce a UGC-style clip without a creator: Clipgenx starts at $9 per month and Novoads at $15 per month. A creator pitching a brand can use that as context for a rate conversation, focusing on what an AI avatar cannot offer, such as a real customer's face, voice and home. We list no rates for creators, so use that as framing and not as a figure.

Related platforms outside this category
Two tools in the influencer marketing category are also worth knowing. Passionfroot lists a free plan and is described as a place where creators manage brand deals and media kits. Afluencer is a marketplace where verified creators apply to brand collaborations and lists a free tier at Free. Both are covered in our guide to influencer marketing platforms.
Who should not pick it
- A creator who wants to be hired should not expect Clipgenx or Snap UGC to bring jobs: they are video generators with plans from $9 per month and $29.90 per month.
- A creator with no portfolio yet should not start on Insense first: its listed plans start at $500 per month on the brand side, and brands there expect to see work.
- A creator who wants a payout figure should not read it from this page: the only fee we list is 10 percent on the Insense brand plan.
- A creator who wants a free tool should avoid Creator.co: its free plan is listed as No.
What we did not test
We did not sign up as a creator or a brand on any platform, apply for a job or receive a payment. The scores come from vendor pricing and feature pages, so they cannot tell you how many briefs a marketplace posts, what brands pay, how quickly payouts arrive or how a platform treats creators in a dispute. Rates and rules for creators are usually on the vendor's creator pages and change often, so read them before you apply. See what we did not test.
– = not published by the vendor, or not verified yet.
Frequently asked questions
Where can a creator find UGC jobs?
Look at marketplaces where brands post briefs and at tools that help you show your work to brands. In our data, Insense is a marketplace for hiring UGC creators and influencers, and Yosta is a portfolio builder for UGC creators. Both are listed on this page with their plans.
Is it free to join a UGC platform as a creator?
It depends on the platform. Yosta lists a free plan, and Passionfroot lists a free plan for creators and marketers. Insense lists no free plan on the brand side, with a starting price of $500 per month. Read each vendor's creator terms, because the brand-side price is not what a creator pays.
Do UGC platforms take a fee?
Some do. Insense lists a platform fee of 10 percent on its $500 per month brand plan and 7 percent on its $800 per month agency plan. Our catalogue does not list how fees are split between brand and creator.
What is a UGC creator portfolio?
It is a page that shows your sample videos and what you offer, so a brand can judge your work before it writes to you. Yosta lists video hosting, visitor analytics and templates for brand outreach, and shows analytics as Yes.
Which of the UGC platforms ranks first on SaaSHunter?
Yosta has the highest score, 98 out of 100, among the 14 UGC platforms with enough verified data to be ranked. Its facts were last checked Oct 14, 2026. Scores are computed from the published scorecard and change when the underlying facts change.
Which UGC platforms have a free plan?
2 of the 14 ranked UGC platforms list a free plan: Yosta, Creetr. What the free plan allows differs, so check the limits column before choosing.
What is the lowest starting price among UGC platforms?
Among the ranked UGC platforms, Clipgenx has the lowest paid starting price at $9 per month. Tools charge per seat, per connected account or per workspace, so the units differ and the lowest sticker price is not always the lowest bill for your setup.
How are the UGC platforms scored?
Each tool is scored from 0 to 100 on 7 weighted criteria taken from the same scorecard for every tool: entry price, free plan or trial, pricing transparency, verified features, api, integrations and export, cost per user (team of 3), platform coverage. Criteria without verified data are left out and the weights re-normalised; a tool with under 60% of the weight covered is listed as not ranked.
